I am getting tired of seeing the petty and immature things people do day-to-day. I am not just talking about teenagers, I am also talking about adults. Growing up I had this view on adults that I think most kids had, but now I feel like maturity isn’t something that always happens with age, but happens to people that are smart enough to realize they need something more. Whether it is on Facebook, Tumblr, or just everyday life, I see it everywhere. I’m tired of seeing girls/women saying how much they “hate drama” when the reality is if you don’t want it in your life, then don’t put yourself into it. 99% of people with drama in their lives have it there because of themselves. Someone calls you a whore? So what, it isn’t their life. It isn’t going to do any good to go off the handle, be the better person and just move on. I think one of the big things that really gets me is seeing people get extremely depressed over things that happen to everyone. This may be wrong… but my view on things has always been “shit happens” and you just keep on going. You aren’t going to care in a year that your car broke down, you aren’t going to care in a couple years that a chick flirted with your ex-boyfriend. Some things are just necessary to brush off. These type of things are just stepping stones in life and how you deal with them makes you the person that you are. I am not saying when these things happen you can’t be upset or anything, but why make such a big deal? It may be hard at the time, but when you get through it without making it out to be the end of the world you will be proud of yourself and the strong person you are. Also, we have to stop putting each other down. When are we going to learn “treat others as you want to be treated”? We want people to accept our faults, insecurities, and who we are; but we cannot do the same for others. We even go as far as to mock and make fun of people for them. I think if everyone would realize that if you just think out of the box of what is suppose to make you beautiful, what is suppose to make you “normal” and what people say is right and wrong, we could love each other more. We could all really love each other. We could actually give each other the love and support we all need.
